INFS 3300 Internship in Information Systems and Business Analytics

This course is designed to give students an opportunity to gain real-world experience in their chosen career field by working with a participating employing firm or organization. The students will be supervised by a faculty member acting as a liaison between the employing organization and the academic department to assure compliance with specific learning and experience requirements.

Six credit hours in (INFS 3308, INFS 3310, INFS 3320, INFS 3325, INFS 3330, INFS 3333, INFS 3335, INFS 3336, INFS 3338, INFS 3375, INFS 3395, INFS 4308, INFS 4312, INFS 4330, INFS 4340, INFS 4391, INFS 4395, INFS 4397, INFS 4399 or QUMT 4343) with a "C" or better; approval by the department chair. All students pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Economics, or Bachelor of Science in Materials Management and Logistics from VCoBE, must apply for and be admitted to VCoBE before they are allowed to enroll in the Advanced Business Core and Major coursework for their degree.
