INFS 3310 Introduction to Business Programming

Students will be introduced to developing business applications using modern programming languages. Topics include fundamentals of logic development and implementation, user interface design, data controls, and systems integration. Students will understand terminology and principles of programming; produce coding plans for problem statements, sample test cases, and pseudo-code; and be able to design, develop, test, and implement working application programs for given business problem specifications.

Prerequisite

Sophomore Standing. All students pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Economics, or Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management from VCoBE, must apply for and be admitted to VCoBE before they can enroll in the Advanced Business Core and Major coursework for their degree.
