COUN 6328 Counseling Theories, Methods & Techniques II

Primary focus is on techniques and interviewing skills utilized during counseling sessions. In addition, this course addresses how these techniques are applied to special topics and issues such as career counseling, group counseling and family counseling. Students must complete an end-of-course practice examination in this course. If students do not pass, they will need to re-take the exam the following semester. Students must pass all end-of-course exams to qualify for the Counselor Preparation Comprehensive Practice Examination in the semester prior to COUN 6365 (Practicum).
