A survey and analysis of the processes of assisting people to choose, prepare for, enter and progress in an occupation. The course trains leaders who can help people make decisions and choices in planning a future and building a career. Students must complete an end-of-course practice examination in this course. If students do not pass, they will need to re-take the exam the following semester. Students must pass all end-of-course exams to qualify for the Counselor Preparation Comprehensive Practice Examination in the semester prior to COUN 6365 (Practicum).
