Students will learn the essential roles and responsibilities of school counselors as they relate to planning, implementation and evaluation of counseling and guidance programs. Students learn research-based practices in school counseling. Ethical, legal and multicultural issues are emphasized. Students also will need to complete the Empowered Educator modules with an 80% and pass the TExES 252 Practice Test with an 80% or above.
