SPSY 6328 School-Based Counseling Methods & Techniques

This course provides an in-depth examination of psychotherapeutic and counseling methods and techniques for addressing emotional and behavioral disorders in children and adolescents that impede learning. Emphasis is placed on the development and application of interviewing skills and counseling strategies within therapeutic contexts. Additionally, the course considers the implementation of these approaches in specialized areas, including group counseling and family counseling.
