SPSY 6380 Cognitive Theory and Assessment in School Psychology
This course introduces school psychology graduate students to the issues, methods, and practices of cognitive and intellectual assessment. Students will develop skills in the administration, scoring, and introductory interpretation of major individually administered tests of cognitive abilities. Emphasis is placed on understanding test procedures, limitations, and applications in educational settings, as well as reviewing current trends and developments in the field of assessment.
