DIET 6332 Medical Nutrition Therapy in Disease II

This course is a continuation of Medical Nutrition Therapy in Disease I and will focus on the pathophysiology of certain diseases and the application of the Nutrition Care Process in their prevention and management. Students will use current research to develop appropriate assessments, nutrition diagnosis, interventions, and monitoring/evaluation plans for clients/patients with the following: gastrointestinal, neurology, pulmonary, immunology, oncology, musculoskeletal, liver, and renal diseases/disorders.
