HIST 3317 U.S. Economic and Business History

This course examines the emergence and evolution of American capitalism from its roots in European colonialism to the United States’ dominance in global markets. It analyzes how capitalism shaped American culture and politics, exploring economic booms and busts as well as transformative changes in models and mechanisms of the American economic system.
