PHTH 8316 Management of the Pediatric Patient
This course will focus on the examination, evaluation, and interventions of pediatric patients with developmental, acquired, and progressive neurologic and neuromuscular disorders. The course will emphasize models of disablement, hypothesis-oriented clinical practice, motor control, and motor development during the examination, evaluation, and management of pediatric patients to mitigate functional loss and restore or adapt movement to maximize patient function and independence.
