PHTH 8463 Therapeutic Interventions

This course will continue to develop the student’s understanding of therapeutic interventions to include, but not limited to prescription of therapeutic exercise, use of physical agents, soft tissue mobilization, and balance training. Emphasis will be placed on developing competency in the selection, implementation, and progression of therapeutic intervention for healthy individuals and patients undergoing a rehabilitation program due to musculoskeletal, neurological, or cardiopulmonary system dysfunction. A problem-solving approach based on the International Classification of Function framework will be utilized throughout this course.
