PHTH 8361 Clinical Medicine I

This course introduces topics in pathology, medicine, surgery, and rehabilitation of patients with integumentary, lymphatic, and related disorders. The course will review the structure and function of the integumentary and lymphatic systems as well as the management of burns, pressure, ulcers, arterial ulcers, venous ulcers, infections, and lymphedema. Treatment interventions will include discussion or application of the use of universal precautions, wound healing, and diseases of the skin.
