HGEN 8380 Advanced Topics in Neurogenetics

This course will use current literature on ongoing research to explore the genetic factors influencing brain structure, development, and function. Genetic approaches for understanding the determinants of normal variation in brain structure and function will be discussed.  Both monogenic and multifactorial diseases that impact brain development, structure, and function will be reviewed. May be repeated when the topic varies.
