HGEN 8385 Advanced Topics in Functional Genomics

This course will cover conceptual approaches, laboratory methods, and bioinformatics tools for assessing gene function and gene interactions in health and disease.  Variant-centric, gene-centric, and pathway-centric approaches will be examined. Current research on experimental induced pluripotent stem cell-based approaches to assessing gene function will be explored. May be repeated when the topic varies.
